My students have been studying the Middle Ages so this week we had a Medieval fair and feast. The students started out with dressed like a person in the Middle Ages but in the heat these costumes soon were shed. Despite the heat everyone had fun.
Tug-o-War
Play the Merelles game also known as Nine Man Morris.
Jousting with pillows was fun.
Donkey cart rides were a big hit.
Bocci, also known by many other names, was a popular game in the Middle Ages as well as today.
Finally, we sat down to a medieval style feast. Notice that the students made an effort to not use their pinkies in the tradition of the Middle Ages.
