It has been too long since I updated this blog. Here is a quick view of the third quarter.
A banquet was given for all students by the Student Council. We had fun dressing up and using proper manners.
During the coup we were in lockdown which meant not leaving the room. The kids found various ways to entertain themselves.
Curious George, our pet rabbit, broke his back and could not long be kept alive. We really miss him. He would hop around the table and "read" with the students during reading circle.
Skype, George's stepbrother, soon joined the class.
We spent some time studying the country of Niger. We invited some people to come tell us about the different people groups of Niger. We also got to taste some of the delicious foods made here in Niger. Most of what you see above can be bought at a street corner where women fry these different treats.
