Christmas in Niger

I spent Christmas Day at the Gunderson's house. We opened gifts, ate lots of food, took a walk in the neighborhood and watched a movie.
For Christmas Eve I was invited to the Tjosvold's home. We had traditional Norwegian potato balls and played Phase 10. My neighbors and I had our guard and his family over for a Christmas meal. That was also the night the electricity went off in our apartment complex and was off for 24-hours before we were able to get it fixed. Therefore you can see we are eating by candlelight.

Nice blogs, Anisa! I hadn't seen your site for a long time. Maybe I can keep up better now that we'll be living in Niamey.
