The Day Before Australia Day 2013

 Since Australia Day landed on a Saturday this year we celebrated it in class on Friday, the 25th.  The students have been learning about Australia so we spent the afternoon being Aussies.  We tried to speak like Aussies, we ate some Aussie tucker and played cricket and footy.  First we had to make the tucker.  Since everyone was peckish it was hard to keep from eating it all before it got to the party.

 After learning how to kick a footy we played a school yard game with the ball.
